At Monahans Sandhills State Park on May 13th, remains of a yucca and a sunflower stood stately.

I've been traveling through New Mexico, Arizona, and now the southern tip of Nevada. Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with my replies to your comments, and with comments on your posts, which I promise I'll get to eventually.
