Hey,
I find there are two kinds of people:
-
“TGIF People” → who can't wait for the workweek to be over. (Their dread usually starts on Sunday afternoon.)
-
“Rich Life People” → who’ve built their lives so that every day feels like a Friday or Saturday. Even Mondays. TGIM!
Which are you?
The reason the vast majority of people are “TGIF People” is that it’s the easiest, default, go-with-the-flow option.
Building a Rich Life — especially one where you can be your own boss, do what you love, and earn more—requires front-loading the work. It’s not easy. But it doesn’t have to be impossible, overwhelming, or confusing.
To start, just follow my rule for handling uncertainty:
- Accept reality
- Make a plan
- MOVE!
This applies to all areas of your life: learning a new skill, starting a project, finding a job, or building a business. The most successful people take advantage of every opportunity to learn more and get ahead.
If you want to break out of a “TGIF” rut, I suggest you stay tuned for a special announcement tomorrow.
