Before I say anything else—thank you.
I’m grateful to have you join our Hillsdale College community. Thank you for answering the call to do more in defense of liberty.
As someone who understands what’s at stake in America today, I think you’ll be especially interested in our publication Imprimis.
Imprimis is our free speech digest dedicated to educating citizens and promoting civil and religious liberty. It covers various cultural, economic, political, and educational issues from a constitutional perspective.
Ten times a year, Imprimis brings you content drawn from speeches delivered at events at the College. It offers a constitutional perspective that the mainstream media is often unwilling to consider or publish.
Because of you, we can radiate our mission nationwide through effective educational outreach efforts like Imprimis—all while refusing EVERY PENNY of government money, even indirectly in the form of student grants and loans.
This makes us virtually unique compared to the vast majority of colleges, who gorge themselves on millions of dollars of taxpayer funding while in the main failing to provide an education that forms responsible citizens.
And you may appreciate that with over six million PRINT subscribers, Imprimis has become one of the most widely circulated opinion publications in the nation—surpassing even the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal!
Allow me to highlight a few issues I think you might like to read (or listen to on our Imprimis podcast!):
- “Education as a Battleground”—is written by my boss and president of Hillsdale College, Larry P. Arnn. He presents a factual account of the ongoing battle over education. He explains why parents and teachers should guide what children are learning, not bureaucrats and activists.
- “America’s Broken Health Care: Diagnosis and Prescription”—In this issue, John Abramson explores Big Pharma’s takeover of the American health care system and its effects on the health of Americans.
- “Inside the Transgender Empire”—Christopher F. Rufo, distinguished fellow of Hillsdale College, warns of the dangers of “gender-affirming care” and the trans movement to abolish all distinctions between men and women.
You’ll also want to know that we’ve collected our finest issues into one digital book: Imprimis: A 50thAnniversary Collection. This free resource includes articles from Milton Friedman, Ronald Reagan, Clarence Thomas, David McCullough, and more.
You can let me know if you want a physical copy of Imprimis delivered to your home by clicking the following link:

Before I sign off, please allow me to thank you again for helping us restore liberty in America through education. You’re the reason we can do all our work, including educational outreach like Imprimis.
